About the Item

Brooch “Neve”, 2018, is a one-of-a-kind contemporary author jewelry by italian artist Gian Luca Bartellone. Materials: papier-mâché, silver, silver-plated copper, rock crystal, pearls, gold leaf 22kt. Great appearance with the lightweight brooch. Hand-painted paper and papier-mâché body with white color. In the middle of the brooch there is a rock crystal with pearls over a gold leaf base UNDER the stone. A fantastic transparency game with the viewing angle, from the front the rock crystal you see the peals, but from the side you do not see them anymore, it get's neutral and colorless. The back side is handpainted with a white watercolor. Rays of silver-plated copper connect the central part with pearls. One silver needle on the back helps to wear the brooch. Papier-mâché is extraordinary feather-weight and it has a protective transparent enamel. Please note the care instructions for perfect long-term use.
